The Need for Bomb Shelter Renovation

During the Second Lebanon War of 2006, Israeli citizens in the northern region of the country had to flee southward for 34 days because their bomb shelters were not prepared.

Today the majority of bomb shelters throughout Israel are still not prepared for war.

The enemies of Israel are equipped with long range missiles, capable of reaching every corner of the country.  Israelis will have no place to flee for safety except within their own bomb shelters.

Tikvat Am Yisrael has currently completed nine shelters. We urgently need your financial support to continue renovating bomb shelters while there is still time.

With over 20 years of working in the construction industry in California, Rony's professional knowledge and command of the Hebrew language allows him to expedite the efficiency of each renovation.

Working with local sub-contractors, the average length of time to complete a shelter is 4 - 6 weeks.  The average cost to renovate a shelter (capacity of 40-50 people) is approximately $15,000 (US).
