Tikvat Am Yisrael is a nonprofit corporation that reaches out to the practical needs of Israelis.  Rony Jordan, director of Tikvat Am Yisrael, is an Israeli and an American citizen.

As a child of Holocaust survivors, he was raised in Israel and served in the Israeli Defense Force. He later traveled to the United States, where he married his wife Cynthia and worked as a general contractor for 20 years.

The current goal of Tikvat Am Yisrael is to assist those in Israel who have urgent needs including: renovating bomb shelters, encouraging IDF soldiers and assisting the forgotten victims of terror attacks.

Since Tikvat Am Yisrael does not have a large overhead, all funds for these urgent needs are guaranteed to go directly to the field.

Tikvat Am Yisrael also works with other organizations who have a heart for Israel and her people. As a bridge, Tikvat Am Yisrael helps these organizations to enter into Israeli society, introducing them to real people with real needs.
